About FPPA

The object of the Finnish Periodical Publishers' Association is to attend to the mutual and common interests and rights of the magazine publishers, to strenghten the status and raise standards of magazines and to enhance cooperation among magazine publishers.

The aim is to improve the working conditions and profitabileness of members. Trade Union matters do not belong to the scope of the association's activities

Services include:
Looking after members' interests.

Statements at the aspect of magazine publishers for example about government bills, postal and fiscal matters, information and consumer protection matters

• Direct connections with politicians, post and paper industry
• Cooperation with other associations in the graphic industry

Marketing of magazines:

• Organized marketing campaigns
• Magazine events

Research:

• For example: Media fidelity, Magazine expenditure, Productivity

Courses:

• Short information events on current issues
• Distribution of information of courses arranged by different institutes
  

Magazines in education:

• Material for planning and teaching media education in schools
• Media education for teachers
• Magazines participating in the activity allow schools a discount of 50% for subscriptions made through FPPA
• National Magazine Day in schools on November, annual event
